It’s been an exciting couple of weeks! My new picture book, What’s Troubling Tawny? (the second in the Sumatran Trilogy), won the Maincrest Media Award last week, and then today I found out that it has also won the Literary Titan Gold Award, given to the best books that Literary Titan review each month.
It’s great to see Tawny matching her predecessor Poppy by winning the same accolades, and I hope there will be more to come. The only downside is that this is all piling pressure onto poor Heidi, the cute little turtle at the centre of my third book, Hooray for Heidi!, due for release in June this year.
